Have you registered your 3rd – 5th grader for the SuperStart event? If not, here are some reasons why you should:

1. It is going to be a really awesome time with other kids from our church.

2. We get to host it this year, which is just totally cool.

3. The Lads are going to be there putting on a cool concert and Yancy is going to lead worship.

4. Jason Lee wants 100 kids to go, because he knows it is going to be that great.

5. There will be awesome small group and large group enviroments where the children will be challenged to do a good work!

Register your child this Sunday at the Elementary information desk.  Registration deadline is Wednesday, February 24th.

Also, if you want to help out with the event make sure you let the coordinator know at the front desk.  There are plenty of ways that we could use your help!

This month we are being challenged to honor one another.  What are ways that you can honor those around you?

January 17th: Kid Universe Appreciation Lunch
All Kid Universe leaders please make every effort to attend this important lunch.  We will feed you yummy food and we will hear about the upcoming semester in our children’s ministry.  Childcare will be provided [and we will be feeding them as well].  Meet in the Green Room after the 11:00 service.  The meeting should go from 12:30 – 2:00.

January 24th: Children’s Spectacular Weekend
All 1st – 5th grade students come ready for a really fun and exciting Sunday. Invite all of your friends to come and see how cool your church is. We will have special games, crafts, snacks and more!  Make sure you don’t miss out!

January 31st: Alpha
Alpha is our baptism celebration for those in our children ministry that have accepted Christ as their Savior and are ready to take their next step in their walk with Christ.  Each child will meet with one of our Kid Universe staff in the weeks leading up to Alpha.  Contact the church office if your child would like to get baptized.

This year we hope to keep our office organized, eat lunch more often, and have so much fun doing ministry with you all!

Is your family enjoying the Christmas season? We sure hope so.  We are enjoying wonderful Christmas carols today in the office. It sure does put us in the Christmas spirit.

The Family Show will be on December 6th at 6:30 in the Worship Center.  Come as a family and learn about this month’s virtue, compassion!

The Family Activity Calendar will begin on December 6th. A down loadable   copy of the calendar will be available on the blog in the upcoming days.  Contact the office if you are having problems getting the calendar printed.

Toys for Tots will be held on December 12th – 13th. If you have not donated toys yet, please do so sometime this week.  If you have not found a place to serve, contact the church office and we will get you plugged in.

Christmas Eve Service will be held on December 24th at 4:00pm and 6:00pm.  Bring your ounce of gold to Jesus during this service.
